10.NiP
We’re starting things off with the 10th best CSGO team on LAN tournaments in 2019. If you’re into CSGO, you’ve probably heard about Ninjas in Pyjamas. This legendary roster has dominated the scene during the Counter-Strike 1.6 days. They’ve also set a huge mark on the CSGO as they were considered as the best team in the world not so long ago.
NiP Roster in 2019
Patrik “f0rest” Lindberg
Fredrik “REZ” Sterner
Christopher “Get_RiGhT” Alesund
Dennis “dennis” Edman
Jonas “Lekr0” Olofsson
William “draken” Sundin
Faruk “pita” Pita – coach
When it comes to big LAN events in 2019, NiP participated on 6 of those. However, we can also add Major Main Qualifier to this list. This means that the Swedish CSGO roster played on 7 big LAN tournaments so far this year.
IEM Katowice Main Qualifier → 6th |
IEM Katowice 2019 → 5th |
BLAST Pro Series São Paulo 2019 → 4th |
StarSeries i-League Season 7 → 5th |
IEM Sydney 2019 → 5th |
BLAST Pro Series Madrid 2019 → 3rd |
ESL Pro League Season 9 Europe → 13th |
As you can see from the tournaments above, NiP stayed very active. Once we summed up all of these tournaments, we found out that NiP played a total of 38 maps. They were successful on 14 maps, while they’ve also lost 24 of those maps.
NiP was mostly active on Mirage, Dust 2, and Nuke. However, they were barely playing Inferno, Train, and Cache. The best map on CSGO LAN events was definitely Nuke. On the other hand, both Inferno and Dust 2 were awful for this legendary team.
It is also important to mention that REZ and f0rest topped the charts in most of the matches NiP played. However, Get_RiGhT was their worst player by far with a -137 K/D difference and a very low 0.88 HLTV rating.
9. MIBR
The ninth best CSGO team on LAN tournaments in 2019 is a former SK squad, who is finally back to the full Brazilian roster. After testing things out with two American stars, Stewie2K and tarik, MIBR brought back felps and TACO to the active roster.
To be honest, MIBR isn’t even near to that golden SK era, but they’re playing much better now that they’ve reverted to the original roster. This team is propelled by arguably the best CSGO player in the world, coldzera. Alongside cold, FalleN is also considered as arguably the best in-game leader.
MIBR Roster in 2019
Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo
Fernando “fer” Alvarenga
Marcelo “coldzera” David
Epitácio “TACO” de Melo
João “felps” Vasconcellos
Wilton “zews” Prado – coach
So far in 2019, MIBR attended 6 LAN tournaments. Even though they didn’t get the best results, they have a solid win ratio when it comes to total maps played. At the moment, MIBR played 32 maps. They’ve won 11 of those, and they were defeated 20 times. On top of all of that, MIBR also forced a tie in one of their matches.
IEM Katowice 2019 → 4th |
BLAST Pro Series São Paulo 2019 → 6th |
StarSeries i-League Season 7 → 14th |
BLAST Pro Series Miami 2019 → 3rd |
IEM Sydney 2019 → 4th |
ESL Pro League Season 9 Americas → 5th |
Despite their lackluster performances on some of these events, MIBR was able to put solid numbers in 2019. Brazilians were forcing only one map, that being Overpass. However, they’ve also played a lot of Train, Mirage, Inferno, and Nuke. On the other hand, they barely every played Cache and Dust 2 despite having the most success there. It is also important to mention that Nuke, Inferno, and Mirage were their worst maps by far.
Coldzera is by far the best player on MIBR in 2019. At the time of writing, Marcelo is sitting on +54 K/D difference. On the other hand, TACO is the worst performer on MIBR with a 0.89 HLTV rating and a -74 K/D difference.
8. FaZe
There is not much to say about this famous CSGO roster that wasn’t already said. FaZe is having a hard time in 2019, and it finally seems like they’re finding their rhythm. However, constant shuffles aren’t doing them any good, and it seems like they’ve finally found a permanent fifth member in the likes of NEO.
After their awful showings in 2018, FaZe stepped up massively in 2019, and at the moment, they are one of the top contenders and they have a legit chance to take down either Astralis or Liquid.
FaZe Roster in 2019
Håvard “rain” Nygaard
Nikola “NiKo” Kovač
Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovács
Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer
Filip “NEO” Kubski
Dauren “AdreN” Kystaubayev
Janko “YNk” Paunović – coach
Even though this team is filled with star players, most of the heavy lifting is done by NiKo. This Bosnian player is definitely one of the best CSGO players in the world, and in 2019 he is putting insane numbers on the board.
8th best CSGO team on LAN tournaments in 2019 attended 7 different events. They were able to win two of those. On the other hand, they’ve also been incredibly bad on certain tournaments. FaZe played a total of 34 maps in 2019. They were able to win 14, lose 19 and get one tie.
ELEAGUE CS:GO Invitational 2019 → 1st |
IEM Katowice 2019 → 7th |
BLAST Pro Series São Paulo 2019 → 5th |
StarSeries i-League Season 7 → 11th |
BLAST Pro Series Miami 2019 → 1st |
IEM Sydney 2019 → 12th |
ESL Pro League Season 9 Europe → 1st |
In 2019, FaZe focused on playing 2 maps in total, Mirage and Dust 2. However, they were also capable of playing Inferno, Nuke, Train, and Overpass, but not with much success. Cache was definitely their least favored map, hence why they’ve played it only 2 times. As for the stats, FaZe did their best on Overpass and Dust 2, while Train, Nuke, and Inferno were horrible for them.
7. fnatic
7th best team on LAN tournaments in 2019 is another Swedish legendary CSGO roster, fnatic. To be honest, fnatic wasn’t very active in 2019, but the tournaments they participated on were quite successful for them.
It seems like the professional CSGO scene can’t get rid of fnatic. This team has been in the top 10 rankings for a couple of years now, and they’re firing on all cylinders. Rest of 2019 is definitely going to be interesting for fnatic. Hopefully, they’ll be able to keep playing at this pace.
Fnatic Roster in 2019
Freddy “KRIMZ” Johansson
Jesper “JW” Wecksell
Richard “Xizt” Landström
Simon “twist” Eliasson
Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin
Jimmy “Jumpy” Berndtsson – coach
Fnatic’s star player in 2019 is definitely KRIMZ. Freddy has been topping the charts day in, day out for the Swedish CSGO roster, and he isn’t stopping anytime soon. Fnatic definitely deserved their spot on our top 10 CSGO teams on LAN tournaments in 2019 mainly because of their individual performances.
iBUYPOWER Masters 2019 → 3rd |
StarSeries i-League Season 7 → 2nd |
IEM Sydney 2019 → 2nd |
ESL Pro League Season 9 Europe → 5th |
As you can see from the tournaments we mentioned above, fnatic wasn’t as active as other teams on our list. However, they’ve acquired solid results, hence why they are the 7th best CSGO team on LAN tournaments in 2019. Fnatic found the most success on Mirage and Cache, while they were avoiding Train. It is also important to mention that fnatic played a lot of Overpass, but their results on this map aren’t so good.
6. Renegades
This Australian CSGO roster definitely deserves to be included into our top 10 CSGO teams on LAN tournaments in 2019. Renegades looked really good in 2019 and it is a big shame that they weren’t able to win a trophy so far.
It is also important to say that Renegades were one of the first CSGO teams to defeat Astralis on IEM Katowice 2019 Major. However, after the Major, Renegades played really bad but hopefully, they’ll find the answer to their problems soon.
Renegades Roster in 2019
Aaron “AZR” Ward
Justin “jks” Savage
Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad
Jay “liazz” Tregillgas
Sean “Gratisfaction” Kiawai
Owen “smooya” Butterfield
Aleksandar “kassad” Trifunović – coach
When it comes to big tournaments played in 2019, Renegades CSGO roster wasn’t really active. They’ve participated in 5 big events, where they achieved mixed results. Even though they weren’t placed highly in those events, they put on strong performances, hence why they found themselves on our top 10 CSGO teams on LAN tournaments in 2019 list.
IEM Katowice 2019 Main Qualifier → 2nd |
IEM Katowice 2019 → 6th |
StarSeries i-League Season 7 → 4th |
IEM Sydney 2019 → 11th |
ESL Pro League Season 9 Americas → 7th |
Believe it or not, Renegades played 31 maps in total during the events we mentioned above. They were successful in 17 of their bouts, while they’ve lost 14. The most played map for the Australian roster was Mirage, while the least favorite was Cache.
On top of all of that, Renegades have a stunning win percentage on Mirage, 78% to be more precise. On the other hand, they were horrible on Cache, and they lost all of their bouts on this map.
5. ENCE
Arguably, this team could rank higher on our top 10 CSGO teams on LAN tournaments in 2019, but statistics say that this is where they belong. This Finnish CSGO roster is led by a renowned veteran, allu who really assembled an excellent team based around young guns.
We can only point out one guy who is playing like a madman, but overall, ENCE is playing like a unit, hence why they were able to achieve excellent results in 2019. It would be fair if we mentioned sergej as the best player on this roster, as he is putting on crazy numbers day in, day out.
ENCE Roster in 2019
Aleksi “allu” Jalli
Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen
Jere “sergej” Salo
Jani “Aerial” Jussila
Sami “xseveN” Laasanen
Slaava “Twista” Räsänen – coach
So far in 2019, ENCE played a total of 31 maps over the course of 6 LAN events. However, if we are to exclude Europe Minor and IEM Katowice 2019 Main Qualifier, this will leave us with 4 tournaments in total.
IEM Katowice 2019 → 2nd |
BLAST Pro Series São Paulo 2019 → 3rd |
StarSeries i-League Season 7 → 7th |
BLAST Pro Series Madrid 2019 → 1st |
As you can see from the results above, ENCE is playing really good, and the only teams that can beat them are either Liquid or Astralis. However, this also changed in the last CSGO tournament where ENCE dominated Astralis.
ENCE played all the maps in the map pool except Cache. They’ve had the most success on Train and Mirage, while Dust 2 and Inferno were really bad maps for ENCE in 2019. It is also important to mention that ENCE won Nuke against Astralis, breaking their 31-0 record.
4. NRG
After a horrible showing on IEM Katowice 2019, NRG decided to mix things up by adding tarik to their roster. Even though most of you won’t agree with NRG being the 4th best CSGO team on LAN tournaments in 2019, we believe that they deserve their spot on our top 10 list.
This team is propelled by two young guns who are capable of winning matches themselves. Both Brehze and Ethan are playing out of their minds in 2019, and we’re interested to see how far can they take this up and coming CSGO team.
NRG Roster in 2019
Damian “daps” Steele
Vincent “Brehze” Cayonte
Cvetelin “CeRq” Dimitrov
Ethan “Ethan” Arnold
Tarik “tarik” Celik
Jacob “FugLy Medina
Chet “ImAPet” Singh – coach
NRG wasn’t so active when it comes to LAN events in 2019. However, the ones they attended were quite successful for them. Maybe not so much in the terms of placements, but more in the terms of performance. They attended a total of 4 tournaments so far in 2019 and these are the results.
IEM Katowice 2019 → 15th |
StarSeries i-League Season 7 → 3rd |
IEM Sydney 2019 → 3rd |
ESL Pro League Season 9 Americas → 1st |
In total, NRG played 24 maps, and they are sitting on a 50% win percentage. Mirage is their most played map, followed closely by Inferno and Train. On the other hand, NRG hates playing Dust 2 and Cache, and their win percentages on those maps prove that. This team found the most success on Train, while their worst maps when it comes to winning percentage are Cache, Inferno, and Nuke.
3. Natus Vincere
Coming in at number three is Natus Vincere. We believe that this team definitely deserves their spot as the third best CSGO team on LAN tournaments in 2019. This team was very active in 2019, and on top of all of that, they’ve achieved excellent results.
There is no denying that Na’Vi gameplay is based around one player, that being s1mple. This guy delivers on a regular basis, and there is a reason why he was voted as the best CSGO player in 2018. However, electronic is also a monster, and if he is playing on a high level, there is no stopping Natus Vincere.
Natus Vincere Roster in 2019
Ioann “Edward” Sukhariev
Egor “flamie” Vasilyev
Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev
Danylo “Zeus” Teslenko
Denis “electronic” Sharipov
Mykhailo “kane” Blagin – coach
So far in 2019, Natus Vincere played a total of 6 LAN tournaments. They’ve come out on top only once. However, they were always competing against the best teams on the scene, so there is no shame in those defeats.
GG.BET ICE Challenge → 2nd |
IEM Katowice 2019 → 3rd |
StarSeries i-League Season 7 → 1st |
BLAST Pro Series Miami 2019 → 5th |
BLAST Pro Series Madrid 2019 → 4th |
ESL Pro League Season 9 Europe → N/A |
When it comes to maps, Natus Vincere won 19, while being defeat on 16. This ranks them highly when it comes to total LAN maps played. Ukrainian CSGO organization found the most success on Inferno and Nuke, while they performed horribly on Dust 2 and Train.
2. Liquid
To be honest, we feel sad for Liquid at times. This team is playing on a really high level on a regular basis, and they are always coming in second, right behind Astralis. However, they were also able to defeat Astralis in one grand final, so maybe the rest of 2019 will prove to be a turning point for Liquid.
Even though this team is playing like a real unit, there are individuals who make things happen on Liquid. Their two best players in 2019 are NAF and EliGE, who are putting on insane numbers. Let’s not forget to add Twistzz to this as well. It’s sad to see that Stewie2K is the worst performer on Liquid, but this will definitely change.
Liquid Roster in 2019
Nicholas “nitr0” Cannella
Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski
Russe “Twistzz” Van Dulken
Keith “NAF” Markovic
Jacky “Stewie2K” Yip
Eric “adreN” Hoag – coach
Even though Liquid didn’t all CSGO LAN events in 2019, they’ve still attended the most important ones. It is also important to notice that in 4 of those events, Liquid was either first placed or second placed. Excellent performance from the North American CSGO roster in 2019.
iBUYPOWER Masters 2019 → 1st |
IEM Katowice 2019 → 8th |
BLAST Pro Series São Paulo 2019 → 2nd |
BLAST Pro Series Miami 2019 → 2nd |
IEM Sydney 2019 → 1st |
When it comes to maps played, Liquid put an absolute clinic in 35 maps. They won 23, lost 11 and had one tie. Insane numbers if you ask us. This team mostly competed on Overpass and Dust 2, while their least favored maps are Nuke and Cache. When it comes to winning percentages, Nuke was very successful for Liquid, followed by Overpass. On the other hand, Mirage and Inferno weren’t so good for Liquid.
1. Astralis
We can all agree that Astralis is the best CSGO team ever. No one comes close to the mighty Danes, and they’re the reason why this game is so competitive in 2019. Astralis deserves to be ranked as the best CSGO team on LAN tournaments in 2019.
Most of the teams are basing their plays on individual skill, while Astralis is playing like a unit, where they’re using utility to the full potential. On top of all of that, they’re also packed with insane players. We can point out their AWPer, dev1ce, who was voted as the second-best CSGO player in 2018.
Astralis Roster in 2019
Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz
Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen
Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth
Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander
Emil “Magisk” Reif
Danny “zonic” Sørensen – coach
So far in 2019, Astralis competed on 5 LAN tournaments, where they achieved excellent results. Even though they had two 2nd place finishes, we believe that this was just a day off in the office for the Danes. Let’s not forget the fact that Astralis won the Major, IEM Katowice 2019.
iBUYPOWER Masters 2019 → 2nd |
IEM Katowice 2019 → 1st |
BLAST Pro Series São Paulo 2019 → 1st |
BLAST Pro Series Miami 2019 → 4th |
BLAST Pro Series Madrid 2019 → 2nd |
Even though Liquid put insane stats for the total maps played, Astralis bested them. Out of 32 maps, Astralis came out on top in 22 of those, while losing only 10. Most of the work was done on Dust 2, followed by Inferno. On the other hand, Astralis only played Nuke twice mainly because other teams avoid playing Nuke against them. Astralis had the most success on Inferno where they won all 7 of their matches.
