BLAST Global Final Outright Prediction

Safest Outright Pick

For the safest BLAST Global Final betting prediction, I opted-in for Astralis. However, I’m not interested in providing you a tournament winner as I believe that there is a max bet opportunity here.

Right now, GG.bet is offering very high odds on Astralis to reach the final. This is a no-brainer as all of their star players are back in action. Gla1ve is back on that IGL role and this means a lot for this prediction. The best thing about this bet is that we gave ourselves a breathing chance since Astralis doesn’t have to win BLAST Global Final, they just need to reach the finals.

Prediction: Astralis to reach the final
Odds: 1.40
Betting Site: GG.bet

Underdog Hunting – Insane Odds

If we want to talk about individual skill, we can’t leave out G2. Even though they didn’t have a good ending to 2020, I’m positive that they will bounce back since they had a lot of time to think things through.

Both NiKo and Hunter- can win games themselves. The best thing about this bet is that G2 will face off against FURIA and that should be a freebie because HEN1 got benched. After that, G2 will have to win two more matches to reach the finals. When you look at the odds below, you’ll definitely want to place a bet on G2 to win BLAST Global Final.

Prediction: G2 to win BLAST Global Final
Odds: 12

BLAST Global Final – Format, Schedule & Stream

The tournament itself starts on January 19th while the grand finals will be played on January 24th. 8 teams in total will fight for their share of $1.000,000 in prize pool money. It is important to mention that a double-elimination bracket has been put in place for this tournament. This makes BLAST Global Final betting more enjoyable, especially if you opt-in for tournament bets.

If you don’t know how the double-elimination bracket works, let me help. Basically, all 8 teams are starting in the upper bracket. The winner advances through to the upper bracket semifinals while the loser drops down to the lower bracket. Whoever loses a match in the lower bracket is eliminated from the event. All of the matches, including the grand final, are played in the best of 3 format.

BLAST Global Final Betting Bonuses and Promotions

Let’s face it, we all like free money. This is why CSGO betting sites try to lure us in with different types of promotions such as deposit bonuses, free bets, and cashbacks. A lot of operators put in place promotions that come with hefty wagering requirements that are super hard to fulfill. This is why I did my due diligence and here are the results of sites that will give you a realistic chance to get the most out of the bonus funds you receive.

BLAST Global Final Betting Predictions

Interested in who the smart money is on? My BLAST Global Final betting predictions are based on in-depth analysis that includes going through the recent form, map pool, and other relevant information. Find my picks for the opening matches below.

Astralis vs Evil Geniuses

We’re starting things off with the easiest pick. Ever since gla1ve announced that he is back on the IGL role, Astralis has been on a tear. Before winter break, Astralis stomped Liquid in the IEM Global Challenge 2020. On the other hand, Evil Geniuses had a long layoff after suffering a defeat to Chaos.

Let’s talk about map pool for this BLAST Global Final betting prediction. Both Mirage and Vertigo are getting permabanned. Astralis has a comfortable map veto here and their best bet is Inferno. On the other hand, Nuke is a map where Evil Geniuses had success against Astralis and this should be their pick. As for the other maps, they all favor Astralis.

Summary: Astralis is definitely a better team. Incredible team cohesion and individual skill will be too much for Evil Geniuses to handle. However, in their two last bouts on Nuke, Astralis was unable to win this map. But, they won every other map in the series. This is why I’ll avoid the correct score bet and stick with the safe pick which is a match-winner bet on Astralis.

G2 vs FURIA

A couple of days ago, FURIA announced that they’re benching HEN1. This was their core player and primary AWPer. This means that they’re playing this event without him. honda was announced as a temporary replacement. Let’s talk more about this stand-in. He turned pro in late 2020 which means that honda only played a couple of professional matches. Guess what, now, he is going to compete against two top CS:GO players.

Even though G2 only won one match in their last 5, I believe that this will be a walk in the park for them. FURIA is also riding a losing streak. To make things even worse, playing without your star player won’t help the cause, especially when you’re fighting for your share of $1.000,000.

When it comes to map pool, you should know that Dust 2 getting permabanned by FURIA while Overpass is a no-go for G2. This leaves us with a map pool that is leaning towards G2. On paper, FURIA puts up a good fight on Inferno, but without their AWPer controlling a portion of the map, it’s going to be hard for them to lock T’s out of bombsites. Map veto is also leaning towards Mirage and Nuke, and both of these maps are favoring G2.

Summary: FURIA is coming to this event with a big problem, they’re playing without their AWPer. On the other hand, G2 is ready to start their year with a bang. Kovač’s cohesion should be up and running by now and this means bad news for the Brazilians. Given the circumstances, betting on G2 to beat FURIA 2-0 is an excellent choice for the punters that want higher odds. Otherwise, a match-winner bet is a safe pick and a complete lock.

Vitality vs Complexity

Another easy BLAST Global Final betting prediction. There is no need to go all crazy about this match. The conclusion is simple. Complexity literally has nothing to look for in this match. Honestly, I would be surprised if they get double digits across two maps.

Playing without poizon won’t help their cause. Playing without a primary AWPer, against ZywOo isn’t a good idea. This will for sure come back to haunt them in this match. Complexity’s recent results are telling the whole story. One victory out of the last 5 matches is more than enough for me to lock in a 2-0 win for Vitality.

Summary: Complexity stands no chance in this match. Playing without poizon and with JuGi as a stand-in won’t help them against a beast, that is ZywOo. He will be able to control the entire map and there’ll be no stopping him. All in all, an easy 2-0 for the French roster.

Natus Vincere vs Liquid

Is Fallen going to ruin another team? That’s the main question I’m asking myself. From my point of view, this is the hardest match to predict. It really isn’t help that Grim is underperforming as he was brought in to help the team immediately. On the other hand, Natus Vincere didn’t impress me either. They’re either playing super good or super bad.

Both teams are on a similar run right now. However, not so long ago, Liquid lost to Natus Vincere. Bear in mind that this isn’t really important because Fallen will have a different approach to the game. I dug deep and found out that Fallen only defeated Natus Vincere 2 times in his career and this means a lot.

When it comes to map pool for this BLAST Global Final betting prediction, we definitely won’t see Train nor Vertigo played. This leaves Natus Vincere with a couple of solid picks such as Nuke or Overpass. Liquid, however, will definitely look for that Dust 2 pick.

Summary: everything is pointing towards one team, that being Natus Vincere. Their individuals played much better once compared to Grim and Stewie2K. Map pool won’t play a big factor in this match because both teams will get comfortable picks. However, I’m relying on Fallen not being able to adjust to Natus Vincere and their playstyle. This is why I’m leaning towards s1mple and co., but only for a small bet.
